Yeah, yeah, I know. I promised to write more. But hey, a man has to eat. So I spend the last week optimizing the new Kairos website. Kairos Media is one of the companies which go along with Kubik. Kairos is about media for the church. We distribute and create media for worship-services and other scenarios in churches. In the past most of the time was spend on reselling products from companies like Highway Video and One Small Barking Dog. Now as we start to put more effort into it Kairos becomes more and more an outlet for the creativity of the Kubik artists. Stuff like movies, texts or images which were created for our alt.worship-services are put together into products which now are for sale in the new webshop. We love to put enormous time and creativity into the stuff we do for our services. Now others can profit from that and buy the stuff for their own services and we can make a little money.
This website is a coproduction of Denis Holzmüller and me. Denis did the marvelous screen-design and I tried to turn it into a working website.
Nice looking site.
Because the site is in German, I couldn’t tell if there is a way to preview some of the video. I would think that this would help with sales because most people probably won’t pay 100€ for something they can’t preview.
I would be happy to help with an english translation to the site. Although I can’t translate, I can optimize and correct english. Let me know if you need a hand.

And when things are rolling here in Germany, we may think about international shipping. The good thing is, that it won’t be to complicated because the system has that functionality already build in.

What is the rationale behind international shipping? Are people really that bothered to have hardcopy? If I were in the market to buy, i would prefer download via bit torrent… But maybe you are more restricted by export laws? But then those would not affect sales within the EEC.
I’ll be directing Spaniards your way… and I hope they buy (although, i’ll be honest, they are born pirates and won’t pay for video… they’ll find other ways to get their loops).
